About This Interpreting Site
Hello there — I built this site because I work in the world of simultaneous interpreting at conferences and conventions all over the world. The goal is to help companies learn how to hire interpreters and rent or buy interpreting equipment. I also hope to explain what all the various translation terms mean and how to get the best interpretation service possible. As the world continues to become more and more globalized, the necessity for simultaneous interpretation is only going to increase. And maybe it will be your job to find translators for your next conference. Stranger things have happened, eh? 
And don’t forget sign language interpreters! They are also an important part of the mix. ASL interpreters are becoming more and more standard at conferences, even more so than foreign language interpreters.
