5 Shockingly Nasty Things About Body Language You Need To Know Before Setting Up For A Job Interview

Any dork in school can tell you that putting on or expressing the unsuitable thing can get you beat up, however who understood precisely the same tips applied to setting up for an interview? The fact is, the career market is much like the school playground – you are evaluated by your visual aspect. Non-verbal cues are particularly important. It might not be right, but it’s true.

Just before you get started setting up for a job interview review these shockingly nasty things about body language you must know:

1. Body form

It may not be politically appropriate to appraise folks by considering physical appearance, but that doesn’t keep it from happening. Consciously and not, people assess other individuals depending on the shape and also state of their bodies. This ranges from thinking that a person of fair complexion doesn’t get out much or supposing that an overweight man or woman is slow-moving. It doesn’t count if it’s a fact or not. Just how can this be shunned when organizing for an interview? The key to preparing for an interview here is to make sure you are comfortable in your physical appearance. Whether is wearing anything that matches appropriately or dressing right for your age, discomfort will be seen above all else. Comfort, conversely, can show self esteem.

2. Facial Maps

Every picture tells a story. As it turns out, so do wrinkles. Just about anything from frown lines to crows feet can present proof of default facial expressions. Thin lines above the lip can indicate frequently pursed lips and serious creases in the forehead can imply a worried expression. Of course, age and sun damage have something to do with it too. Keep a professional eye when organizing for an interview. You might choose to keep your own jokes to yourself if you notice no proof of laugh lines on your interviewer’s face.

3. Selective Perception

Hand in hand with physical form, is selective perception. According to a research done for the University of Virginia printed in the Journal of Abnormal and Social Psychology in 2004, perception of an occasion may differ in participants of the study based on expectation of said occasion. In other words, people filter info to accommodate their own needs. As an illustration, people wearing a laboratory coat and a stethoscope are assumed to be clinical professionals. What does this mean for you fixing for an interview? Next time you’re organizing for a job interview, dump the contact lenses, as apparently individuals who use glasses are thought to be more intelligent.

4. Body signs

Too much partying when you should have been setting up for a job interview? Look for the Visene stat. Interviewers are sharp on spotting all body signs. Excessive sweating, bags under the eyes, and even bitten finger nails can all be interpreted as bad signs. Make sure you’ve had a great night’s sleep and are refined from top to bottom when fixing for an interview. The smallest factor can put you over the edge or knock you out of the ball park when fixing for an interview.

Never having that second interview? Perhaps your telling far more that you really think. Often times it’s exactly what we don’t assert that communicates volumes. Make sure that you are aware of the signals you might be accidentally giving off. Rehearse with a buddy and ask them to discover any non-verbal cues that may be betraying you. The more aware you are of your body language when getting ready for an interview, the more you’ll have the ability to handle them

Prophetic Vision and Prophecy for 2011

 The vision

I prayed for some time now to find out what the Lord wishes to work in His church in 2011. Eventually I saw the vision I believe that reveals the heart of God for the coming year.

In the vision I sensed it was a new day. Everything was new and different as in the time when Noah and his family exit the ark and set foot in a new world. Everything was different, it was a new world. I knew I was a new person, strong, energetic and full of life like man experienced before his transgression. My mind was peaceful and I my vision crystal-clear; I have discerned my environment divinely accurate.

I saw myself on a deserted and isolated piece of barren land at the seashore. There was very little grass and the little grass that there were, was dead, scourged by the sun. I did not feel the heat as I was filled with the peace and joy of God. I had never seen such a destruction of vegetation because of severe drought. The land was a wilderness. Besides myself I did not see people or animals. I saw one dead tree, because there were no other trees, and I saw the dry wood very clearly. I was not alarmed or shocked by the destruction I saw but I was filled with great peace and tranquility in my inner man. The calmness and peace I experienced had a positive effect on my vision because everything I saw was beautiful. I also experienced supernatural strength and energy in my spirit, soul and body. When I looked at the dry wood of the tree I marveled at its beauty. Even the barrenness of the land had a beauty of its own. I was untroubled like a little child, mentally free from the cares of life. I glanced in the direction of the sea and was amazed how calm it appeared. I felt the exuberance of life bubbled up in my whole being. This was the end of my vision. The vision was crystal-clear and the experience very real.

Interpretation of the vision

I sensed it was a new day. I believe the world as we know it is going to change drastically. It is busy to happen but is not going to happen all in 2011 but not many years from now on drastic changes will take place at a rapid pace. I believe God has shown me this that we may prepare us for these changes to come. During the Feast of Tabernacles, 2007, God revealed to me the Economic downturn that will start in 2008. As I understood God, I can compare the first years (up to about 2014) to economic fat years though it will be hard times; thereafter will come the lean years (rapid economic decline and social decay) and then a sudden Global economic collapse like a monster tsunami hitting the shoreline.

The new day to come also refers to a new cycle. The cosmic alignment that occurs every 26 000 years is a scientific truth, not a mystical secret, that is for a sign in heaven. On 21 December 2012 the celestial bodies will be aligned again because they will come to the end of one cycle (day) and will start a new cycle. They will be aligned again, in their original places which they had when God formed and aligned them on the forth creation day. When God created the celestial bodies in the heavens He aligned them according to His pleasure and He commanded these cosmic bodies to move out of alignment, 1 degree every 72 years, to complete one cycle in just less than 26 000 years. God created the heavenly bodies for signs in the heavens. Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years (Genesis 1:14, emphasis added). Compare Matthew 2:2; 24:30; Revelation 12:1, 3; 15:1. The celestial alignment will be for a sign. I believe it will be the alignment of the sons of God (stars) with the purposes of God (other cosmic bodies). Presently redeemed man’s soul and body is not aligned with his spirit which is one with the Spirit of Christ. By the Spirit of God, man’s soul and body need to be aligned with his spirit, which is aligned with the purposes of God. This is to be conformed to the image of Christ. We do not yet understand the meaning “to be conformed to the image of the Son of God.” God is gracious and He is revealing His truth to His Church.

Everything was new and different as in the time when Noah and his family exit the ark and set foot in a new world. Everything was different, it was a new world. On the one hand the world as we know it is busy to collapse but on the other hand God is establishing His kingdom. As it was in the days of Noah the Lord will not spare the Old World but will establish the New World, His kingdom on earth. Christ explained the kingdom of God as follows: Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened” (Matthew 13:33). The kingdom of God is like leaven. The three measures of meal represent three realms, namely, the spirit realm, soulish or psychic realm and the natural realm. The kingdom of God must permeate all realms until all the kingdoms of the earth have become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever.

The spiritual realm is the realm of heaven where God dwells. It is all ready under God’s domain but it must infiltrate all other realms until all things are subjected to Christ who God appointed heir of all things. When you got saved your spirit came alive to God and His kingdom has come in your life. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17, emphasis added). The new birth experience is the dawning of God’s kingdom in your life; a new day that will never end but a day that will shine brighter in your life as it grows older and brighter.

The soulish realm is the realm where man dwells with His thoughts and emotions. It is the realm of brain waves and radio waves and auras of living creatures. Though the believer may be alive to God in his spirit, his soul (carnal mind) is enmity against God because it feeds on the things of the flesh. It is the hardened heart in you that tempt God through evil unbelief just like the children of Israel in the desert. Though Christ fully redeemed man, he has not yet restored man to perfection. There is a definite difference between Christ’s redemption plan and His restoration plan. You change as you meditate on the word of God as you are getting renewed in the spirit of your mind and you discern the perfect will of God for your life. When you see Christ with the eyes of your heart you change into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. You as a Christian is not to find out the opinions of men, but to keep your eyes fixed on Christ: to let your mind dwell on Him, having a constant mental vision of His character; to make His life the food on which your soul shall live. As you will set Christ always before you, you shall change into His glorious image from glory to glory, just like Enoch, Elijah and Paul and many other faith heroes.

The physical realm is the realm of man’s body and the rest of the physical cosmos; that is the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms. Though Christ redeemed all things we see the redeemed only quickened to God in their spirit because of Christ’s righteousness in them but their body is still mortal and dead to God because of sin. We also see that not all things in the cosmos are yet under Christ’s rule. Christ redeemed all things but His restoration plan is not finished yet. The completion of Christ’s redemption plan was the setting in motion of His restoration plan. The years 2011 and 2012 will not see all things in fulfillment. We have still to live through the thousand years of the Lord’s reign on earth and then come another millennium (short time) in which Satan will be loosed from his chains to deceive the nations once more.

When Christ’s reign starts on earth, we will not immediately walk into paradise. The earth will be a desolation that God with His people will gradually restore to paradise. But we must first be restored into the full stature of the image of Jesus Christ. It is busy to happen to us now; our relationship with God is in the process of being restored.

God will bring a change so big in the next ten years that nobody will say, “I have seen it before.” Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19).

This brings us to the year 2011. God is going to change you; it is going to be a year of preparation and change. God is going to change your heart and you will say, “O Lord, not what I see but that which You have spoken. I see desolation, but You say, ‘I bring restoration, I establish My kingdom.’ O, Lord it is restoration what I see.”

To benefit from the prophecy you need to flow with the phase of God’s restoration plan that the Holy Spirit will emphasize for 2011. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Revelation 2:11a). You need to adhere to the Holy Spirit’s strategy for its fulfillment in your life. A walk with God is a living and growing thing. The prophecy is only an outline. For your own benefit you need to pick up your own manna every day; but see that it remains in line with the prophecy to stay on track. Unless you believe the word of this prophecy it will not profit you. It will only be new information to you. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it (Hebrews 4:2). You need to sow the right seed to harvest the benefit of this prophecy. But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead (James 2:20). As you continue reading, it will become apparent to you what seed to sow that you may reap the benefit of this prophecy.

I also thought I was a new person, strong, energetic and full of life like a young man. The Lord will bring forth a generation like that of Moses that when he was 120 years old his eyes were not dim and his natural vigor was that of a young man. It will be a generation, like Caleb that when he was 85 years old he was still as strong as at the age of forty when Moses sent him to spy the Promised Land. Forty years is the age where a man is supposed to reach the peak of his strength. Being an athlete since my youth, I ran my best marathon times at the age of forty. No more shall an infant from there lived but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed (Isaiah 65:20). Moses and Caleb were not athletes but they knew God intimately; the Fountain of Life. God is not emphasizing physical fitness but eternal life. Joshua the servant of Moses was of the same excellent spirit as Caleb and Moses. He was spending His days in the Tent of Meeting in the presence of the Lord. They knew God, hence their strength.

I saw myself on a deserted and isolated piece of barren land at the seashore. This indicates a total destruction of the Global economic, social and financial systems. Read my article titled, “Prophetic Dream – World Economic Collapse”.

There was very little grass and the little grass that there were, was dead, scourged by the sun. I did not feel the heat as I was filled with the peace and joy of God. I experienced the same peace when the Spirit of God transported me into the future millennial kingdom of Christ on earth. Though God will bring judgments on the world systems He is preparing His people to go through it. He is bringing His kingdom, which is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The calmness and peace I experienced had a positive effect on my vision because everything I saw was beautiful. Having peace with God your eyes observe truthfully. I also experienced supernatural strength and energy in my spirit, soul and body. When you breathe the air of heaven it quickens your entire being. When I looked at the dry wood of the tree I marveled at its beauty. Even the barrenness of the land had a beauty of its own. The pure in heart sees things as God sees it.

The vision talks about great peace in the midst of adversity. Peace is the indicator of obedience of faith. And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief (Hebrews 3:18-19, emphasis added). An evil unbelieving heart is focusing on problems and not on the Lord resulting in “innocent” murmuring and complaining, which is rebellious arrogance. The Lord is our security and not financial and/or other substances (idols). You shall have no other gods before Me (Exodus 20:3). If you obediently follow the Lord you shall enter God’s rest.

God will give us a thorn in the flesh (adversity) to keep us humble. Humility is focusing on the Lord alone and serves Him obediently which yield fruit of joy and peace. Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor be fruit on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd on the stalls – yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in God of my salvation(Habakkuk 3:17-18, emphasis added). Disobedience is the arrogance of rebellion; a perverseness of sinful flesh.

I have prophesied that 2010 will be a season for rapid spiritual growth. We had phenomenal testimonies of transformation; people that came overnight into a powerful walk with God. In my article “Gradualism: Testimony of Marina” I have witnessed the greatest spiritual transformation imaginable in a person that happened in a matter of months, which is nothing short of a miraculous marvel. This simple Russian speaking lady from the Ukraine took the prophecy not as a word from man but as it is the word of God and God honored her faith as she was instantly transformed into an able soldier of the cross. I do not use the term “soldier of the cross” lightly. When she took the initiative of faith God backed her faith in Him all the way. I have never witnessed such faith in God as this prayer worrier. In the beginning of 2010 she was still full of problems; a pathetic little individual that needed frequent attention but today when she opens her mouth people marveled at the divine wisdom that is flowing from her heart. Read her testimony.

In 2011 the Holy Spirit will lead some into the rest of God in the midst of adversity. He will continue to teach those who believe God’s voice and help them in obedience of faith. This is building blocks for real trying times to come. The Spirit of God will also start to take dominion over your mortal body as you will start to experience increasingly anointed signs of redemption in your mortal body (The calmness and peace I experienced had a positive effect on my vision because everything I saw was beautiful and I experienced supernatural strength and energy in my spirit, soul and body).

The year 2011 will also be a year where the anointing in awakenings and revivals will increase. I have asked God many years ago, “When will the bondage of fleshly living be broken.” The Lord said, “When My Spirit will flow in the lives of My people.” When the Spirit of the Lord flows it brings a hunger and a thirst after God. Revivals and awakenings start in the hearts of individuals that is why God is focusing to align their whole being with His eternal purposes. We can already see some small trickles of water of true revival. The anointing will increase to break yokes and set captives free; to bring people into God’s eternal purpose for them. It will change to streams of living water and then a mighty river that no one can stop. It will still take some years before we will experience the mightiest river of Revival ever that will bring in the great harvest. However, it will be paralleled with might waves of persecution and adversity. I have seen godly visions and dreams of it over a period of almost 40 years. Ceaselesscollective prayer and intercession of congregations will play a major role. Start doing it now. Schools of the prophets will be born from it and areas will be affected by the anointing as in the times of Samuel (1 Samuel 10:5-6).

It is the will of God for you to live with your spirit in heaven while you are physically on earth. The spirit part of a believer is the only part of him that presently can experience God and His kingdom since it is the only part of him that is alive to God because of righteousness. No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven (John 3:13, emphasis added). Jesus said he was on earth and heaven simultaneously. Through faith you can have a life in the Spirit (heaven) while being on earth. To apply the focus of your mind (soul) on the things of the Spirit and to practice the presence of the Lord is definitely the way to go. You need to relate to things through the eyes of the Lord that works faith in your heart and not through the lenses of flesh that causes your heart to fear (Everything was different, I though it to be a new world).

How did Elisha the prophet of God practice the presence of God? He saw the natural and spiritual surroundings blended into the one world of God where he observed the natural and spiritual surroundings in one vision where his bodily senses and spiritual senses were synchronized to observe the truth in one vision. The physical objects he observed with his physical senses but the spiritual objects with his spiritual senses but in one synchronized vision. His physical and spiritual senses were aligned (synchronized) that the experience seems to occur in only one realm.

Because Elisha was a seer prophet he caused problems for the king of Syria. He warned the king of Israel constantly against the ambushes of the Syrians because Elisha lived in the spirit and he could tell the king of Israel the words that the king of Syria spoke in his bedroom (2 Kings 6:8-12). When the king of Syria surrounded the city to capture Elisha, Elisha’s servant was fearful and asked his master what they will do. Elisha prayed to God to open the eyes of the young man that he could see what he was seeing. …Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (2 Kings 6:17b).

Elisha lived in the spirit and natural realms simultaneously. Elijah’s servant lived only his life in the natural, therefore, he could only observe occurrences in the natural. Thus he could only saw the great army that surrounded the city; that part of the picture that imparted fear in his heart. The good news he could not see because he was not living in the spirit where Elisha lived. Elisha also saw the horses and chariots of fire all around him. He saw the whole picture.

I can illustrate this through a short example that I normally use. One day we sat at the kitchen table and we shared the gospel of Jesus’ saving grace with a stranger. This man started to pretend he knew God. I looked at my refrigerator and saw a vision of an African Green parrot in a cage on top of the refrigerator. When the parrot saw me it flees away with a distinct noise through the bars of the cage and hid behind the refrigerator. My bodily and spiritual senses were synchronized (aligned) so that I could observe both the natural and spiritual surroundings in one synchronized vision. Those with me could only observe the natural part of the picture. The experience was so real that I thought the vision was all in the natural.

You start off by let your imagination visualizing the word (will) of God. If your visualization is not based on the word of God it is fantasizing, which is deception. Visualizing the word of God is a high level of meditation on the word. You imagine yourself in the vision of the word. If you do it frequently enough, persevering in it, you will start to walk in the reality of the word and you will enter into the rest of God. The Holy Spirit (the Helper) will help you. Everybody knows how to imagine things. This is just disciplining the focus of your imagination (heart).

I know a prophet of God that is mightily used in the healing, signs and wonders ministry. He emphasizes that every thought must be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. It is to please God with the meditation of your heart, to grow strong in faith. When he visualizes church services he often preaches sermons and heals the sick in his imagination. Occasionally, the actual services and the visualization in the meditation of his heart turned out to be identical. It is the same people he saw with the same sicknesses and the same revelation he received concerning the sick. Thus, the Holy Spirit does anoint sanctified imagination and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit can function in these situations.

Historical/literary background and social location

God’s plans for Israel as the chosen nation were laid out already before Abram was born and they had to just roll out as Abram’s life progressed. A number of incidents in Abram’s life serve to demonstrate how God kept on protecting him in a bid to fulfill Hid (God’s) promise of making Abram a great nation. An example of such an incident is the entry of Abram and his wife Sarah into Egypt after there was famine in Canaan (Genesis 12: 10-20).

Animus and animation: Part Two

Woman`s animus is designed to maintain an equilibrium in emotional terms, which is `high camp`. The opening lines of Star Trek are: `It`s continuing mission, to seek out new lives and new civilizations, to boldly go where noone has gone before.` It`s the notion that species` interaction is `serious` and fun, whereas men`s reality picture is `serious` and doomed.

Animus and Animation: Part One

The spirit of animation is what moves, and the spirit that moves us is God`s, which is the Holy Spirit or Paraclete`s. In the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) the animus is the spirit of a woman which is definable as surrounded by men`s points of view that she endeavours to adjust herself towards pleasing.

Faith is not perfection but only the shadow of perfection to come. In this present dispensation of imperfection and lack you are not meant to be perfect therefore you should relate to God through faith.

BE EVER ON ALERT

The successful salesperson is alert to both verbal and non-verbal signals being sent by a prospect, signs that you may be moving in the wrong direction. When this happens, you may have to switch pitch-vehicles or switch directions quickly. There’s a caution, though, when dealing with both types of signals, especially the non-verbals: you may be misinterpreting the message. Arms crossed on the chest, for example, usually means disapproval or rejection. The gesture, though, may also and simply mean the person is cold.

COMMON NON-VERBAL SIGNALS

Among the more common nonverbal signals are these. Listed beside them are the possible interpretations. We say “possible” because there’s always room for error. Try to verify if your initial interpretation is the correct one.

SIGNAL – POSSIBLE INTERPRETATION

Crossing arms – Person disapproves or rejects your idea

Rubbing face – Person is not interested

Looking up and to the left – Person is visualizing uses for your product or service

Looking up and to the right – Person is analyzing what you’ve just said

Folding hands on stomach – Person feels threatened by you or your style

Leaning forward in chair – Person likes what he hears

Touching nose – Person has decided against your proposal

Tapping foot – Person is impatient

Doodling – Person is bored

Touching fingertips – Person is developing a concept, building an idea

Removing glasses – Person is stalling

Placing hands flat – Person is ready to do business, to make a deal

KEEP ADDING TO YOUR LIST

All of this reaffirms the need for the successful salesperson to be a many-splendored thing. Ideally, you’ll have splendid skills of observation, splendid skills for thinking quickly on your feet, splendid skills of persuasion, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And, your sales results will continue to be splendid if you’ll add to your list of what to look for and how to deal with it.
